Help the Seniors Celebrate the New Years far Away from Home
Dear Friends of Vida,
As you make your plans for your year-end giving, please include the Seniors at Vida Senior Centers. There are more than 500 of them who attend Vida throughout the year. They come from 21 Latin American and several European and North African countries. They speak mostly Spanish. Their average age is 75. They live on incomes at or below the 2023 DC poverty line. They are not thrilled with the cold and the rain of Washington winters. But they love to sing and dance. The minute music starts anywhere they are up and dancing. Come join them for their open houses on Friday afternoons and give generously. The seniors thank you.
